Rick Ross has spoken out to deny reports that he was robbed of a chain while in California recently. The rapper said, "I wasn’t in LA two days ago. I got a call saying I was in LA," adding, "Two fake Twitter gangsters said they robbed me for a chain. There’s too many real ni**as in LA I see yall, to even think about letting the fake Twitter thugs f**k the real ni**as up."

Sean 'Puffy' Combs has cleared up rumors that he is managing rapper-du-jour Nicki Minaj. Speaking on the talk that he was managing the Young Money artist, Puff explained, "For the record, as I said before, don’t believe the rumors. I have not made no announcement yet, don’t believe no rumors about anything y’all hear. Me and Nick, we just cool. I like her style. Rick Ross, he’s my brother. There’s no management announcements or none of that. So everybody, worry about what you’re worrying about. It’s all right for people to know each other and have an admiration towards each other and maybe pick each other’s brains for advice. I will be making an announcement in a couple of weeks on some things. But right now, everybody let’s chill out and be cool and stay focused on being positive…"

More rumors are circulating about producer Solar's rleationship with deceased Gang Starr rapper Guru. Toronto Jazzmatazz trumpeter Brownman spoke about Guru and Solar's relationship to support rumors that that the rapper took beatings from the producer, "Guru was essentially a puppet. It’s really hard to say this stuff out loud. I’m speaking about a hero of mine. I grew up with Gang Starr and Jazzmatazz. To stand onstage next to him was a thrill. As the group solidified, I guess he [Solar] felt more comfortable treating Guru like a punk in front of us and it was so disdaining to watch. He would yell at Guru like a little boy and I’ve never seen a man disrespect somebody else like this before. It was like an abused wife relationship and he made all the same excuses: ‘Why does he talk to you like that? It’s my fault, Brown, he helps me get in shape.’ He rationalized it. I would just have to shake my head — ‘Okay, you’re a grown man, it’s your life’ — and resolved to never let anyone treat me like that. I wasn’t hired to be the Jazzmatazz judge and jury; I was hired to play trumpet and I did that to the best of my abilities."
