French model Neomie Lenoir, who has appeared in ads for Gap and Victoria's Secret as well as advertising campaigns for Marks & Spencer and Usher's 'Hey Daddy' music video, is recovering after a suicide attempt. The 30-year-old model was found unconscious in a forest in La Celle-Saint-Cloud outside Paris after taking a cocktail of drugs and alcohol at the home of her on-again, off-again boyfriend, ex-Chelsea football star Claude Makelele. Makelele is also the father to her five-year-old son Kelyan. Makelele called the police, but Lenoir woke up minutes later and canceled the ambulance before leaving the house. Lenoir was found unconscious by a man walking his dog several hours later on a forest trail. A source revealed, "After coming to, Noemie was in a state of great distress and clearly very ill. She had clearly attempted to harm herself and had fallen unconscious. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for the effects of poisoning. It seems that she may have tried to commit suicide as a cry for help. She’s now in a far better condition and recovering." A spokesman for the Paris police confirmed "A young woman age 30 was found unconscious in La Celle-Saint-Cloud on Sunday afternoon….She was rushed to hospital for treatment for the effects of an overdose. She is now recovering well." Reports suggest that Lenoir had been experiencing "extreme angst" over her romantic relationship with Carl Hirschmann who is involved in a blackmail, sex, and extortion scandal in his native Switzerland. Lenoir has reportedly been visiting him often in Zurich, where the millionaire is accused of giving models vodka-based drinks called "Love Potion," then videotaping them in sex acts before allegedly blackmailing them with the videotapes. Hirschmann, who dated Paris Hilton in 2003, is pleading not guilty.

Mariah Carey was pictured once again leaving a medical center alongside Nick Cannon. Word is that they have been visiting a fertility clinic - so perhaps we can expect some good news soon?
 

Some audio recordings of Michael Jackson pleading for financial help and talking about fears for his life have been released into the public domain. The recordings, which were left on a friend's answerphone in 2003, show Jackson may have feared that the Mafia were after him, while US journalist Daphne Barak - who was handed the tapes - revealed, "Some of Michael's closest confidents talked to me exclusively about his addictions - and provided audio tapes of Michael never heard before. These demonstrate different states of mind he was experiencing under the influence of pharmaceuticals." The first recording showed an anxious Michael looking for an escape from his Neverland Ranch, "It is Michael calling. It is very important, I want that 150 in that account for me, because... I am very concerned about my life. I am hearing a lot of stories that (name withheld) is still trying to sabotage (inaudible) me and I want to be in a different environment and, um, I've found a place that I like and now (inaudible) I want to be away for a while where they can't find me. So please help me, help (inaudible) help me, and, um, more important than (inaudible). We are brothers." In the next recording Jackson sounds slurred and incoherent, possibly due to medication, "It is Michael. Ahh, it is 4:30 in the morning here that's why I sound very sleepy (laughs) and I'm really worn out... but please check the message I left a day or so ago. I am very concerned. I don't trust that man. We think he's bad, we think he is Italian mafia. Please... we must be smarter than him. So please, help me with this. I need to get that, those funds so I can do that, I wanna be away. . . I don't want to be in Neverland right now." Another recording has Michael again asking for money, "If you get this message call me immediately at 805 *** ****. What I want to talk to you about is very top - top secret... I need a German or Swiss bank... " This was followed by another call, "am very embarrassed. But, um, there should be that I have some finance that's coming up January, February 2nd, and um... that's why I, we need to have on Sun Screen to the account 150. Please don't be mad at me for... (inaudible) It's something that's very important to me and my family, because I'm (inaudible) that I'm being stalked and I think it is (name withheld)." Of course we can't confirm or deny the authenticity of the tapes...

Word has it that Alicia Keys is to marry Swizz Beatz this coming July. A source revealed, "[Swizz and Alicia] will get married in either Dubai or France," adding, "Jay Z and a bunch of other celebs will be there." That's it!

T.I. has put the stops on Tiny's reality TV show 'Tiny and Toya.' It seems that the rapper is unhappy about the show - despite it's huge ratings. A source revealed, "When he was about to go [to prison] he really didn't have much of a say in what Tiny did. But now that he's out, he told her to leave the show . . . he thinks it is a bad look for Tiny and their family." Word has it that Toya will continue with a new show without Tiny...

A little positivity here as Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am offered a helping hand to struggling families by paying off their mortgages to prevent their homes from going into foreclosure. Will.I.Am was on the Oprah show to offer advice to two families facing foreclosure, but he had a sudden change of heart and offered to pay off their debts, giving them more than $350,000 to pay their mortgages. Speaking on the move he said, "I'm OK. I don't dream of being mega, crazy rich; I just wanna be able to create, make music and help people. Doing this isn't gonna leave a dent in my house... but it could help somebody that really needs it. It's something that means a lot to me." Will.I.Am has also created the "i.am home fund" to help other families at risk of losing their homes. Good man.
