Nicki Minaj is in the midst of a sex tape scandal after reports surfaced saying that a video is doing the rounds. The tape, said to have been shot in the early 2000s is apparently being shopped around for prices in excess of $100,000. Word has it that excerpts are due to be leaked to the Internet and rumor has it that Nicki is not the only female featured. Say no more - except when will people learn that sex tapes come back to haunt you?

An Atlanta man has been aquitted over the shooting death of rapper Dolla, real name was Roderick Anthony Burton II. The jury returned a verdict that dismissed allegations that the shooting was a callous act of revenge by the accused, Aubrey Louis Berry. The pair had been involved in a fight at an Atlanta club less than two weeks before the shooting last May. Berry’s attorney had argued that the shooting was an act of self-defense, emphasizing that Burton glorified a violent gangster lifestyle in his rap lyrics and online videos.   Rappers had better take heed - THEY ALWAYS use your music against you in court!

Denzel Washington may have brought drug kingpin Frank Lucas to people's attention with his portrayal in the film 'American Gangster' but Lucas' real wife has been upto some business of her own. 70-year-old former beauty queen Julainna Farrait was arrested by the DEA for allegedly trying to sell two kilos of cocaine to undercover agents. She appeared in court to face charges of conspiracy to violate Puerto Rican narcotics laws following her arrest on May 19^th.

^{Farrait reportedly met with undercover officers in a hotel room where she attempted to sell them the drugs for $60,000. She will reportedly be sent to New York to appear in a Manhattan federal court room. Her husband, Frank Lucas, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for drug peddling before his release in 1991. In May of 2008 Farrait told Puerto Rican newspaper Primera Hora that she always valued the power of money and that it could buy happiness, "Those who say that money is not important are lying. People say that money does not buy happiness. It doesn't?"}

Police say that they did not find a gun on Suge Knight after he was pulled over for assault with a deadly weapon. Police tracked down and arrested Suge after someone told officers that he had pointed a gun at another vehicle at an L.A. gas station. However it seems that the gas station surveillance footage doesn't show Knight brandishing any sort of weapon. Although the footage shows a group of people who seem to recognize Suge and approach his SUV. Suge never gets out of the car and drives away. Suge's rep has revealed that the former Death Row boss was involved in a confrontation that occurred when, "some guy walked up to the window and started talking to the women in the car disrespectfully." The rep went on, "This made Suge mad so he left the gas station. He never got out of the car and he never had any gun on him." However, reports say that police have impounded Suge's vehicle and plan on conducting a more thorough inspection. meanwhile Suge's lawyer, Marc Brumer, has said Suge is not the type to carry a gun, "He's innocent, 100 percent," Brumer said in a phone interview, "Suge Knight is a businessman. He is not a person who would carry a gun or flash a gun at anybody. That's not Suge Knight...There was never a gun found. He was very cooperative, answered all the questions police had, and we just feel that he shouldn't have been arrested...There are a lot of people that hate (Knight) and are jealous of what he has obtained in his life."

Mystikal spoke on how he handled serving his recent jail sentence and how things had changed in the music industry over the course of his incarceration. Speaking on his sentence the rapper revealed, "It was nothing that I had to try to do. Because Michael Tyler was in there. I left Mystikal at the gate because he was gonna be a distraction and create problems for me there, and I allowed Michael Tyler to do that time. I played him down as much as I could and by doing that, I had the opportunity to really grow in there and wise up…" He went on to talk on how technology had moved on while he was serving his time, "A lot of things have changed with this technology. When I came home, dudes were trying to get beats to me. I'm like, "Here's my address, Fed Ex it to me," and they like, "I'm gonna email it to you." I'm like, "N*gga, what?!! For real?" It's crazy.
