Shyne has arrived in his new home of Belize, releasing a statement saying through his uncle, "Shyne is home. He wants to say how happy he is to be home and to be a free man. He would love to have a conversation with the media but because he was legally advised by Professor Ogletree, he must not speak to the media because he doesn’t want to prejudice his situation with the US government or with the Belize government. So he asked me to ask you that he does not want to disrespect you the media, but please to understand what is going on. You could see the tears in his eyes as they hugged and the romantic situation in there especially with his Grandmother and with his father, with his younger brother Anwar, they hugged and did not want to let go of each other.  His residence at my place is two weeks away from completion so he has rented a complete floor at the Radisson Fort George Hotel. So every room on a floor was taken by him whether he will use it or not. He said that after going through the eight and a half years he has gone through, he needs some privacy, he needs not to be around anybody, he needs just to sit down in isolation and contemplate his life. And I think that we need to respect that. If you notice, he has lost an extreme amount of weight.” 

Word has it that Matthew Knowles is paying DJs to shut LeToya Luckett out of the game in a bid to protect his daughter, Beyonce's status. A source in the Knowles camp has allegedly revealed that Matthew has been using payola to stop LeToya's single 'Regret' getting any bigger than it already is. Apparently Matthew has had trouble convincing West Coast DJs not to play the tune while the East Coast has been easier to win over due to the respect for Jay-Z. We know this sort of thing does go on behind the scenes (as it always has) but the worrying thing is that rumor says this is only the start of matthew's campaign against LeToya...Hope that man is not that conniving...God does not like ugly...

Mary J Blige is giving support to women in her Yonkers hometown through the opening of her 'Mary J Blige Center for Women.' Partnering with Steve Stoute, the center is working to encourage women by supporting educational programs, career development, self-esteem and personal growth. Mary spoke on the center during a press conference, tearfully saying, "When I was 5-years-old there was a lot that happened to me that I carried all my life," continuing, "When I was growing up after that I saw so many women almost beaten to their death by men. I heard them screaming next door in my apartment building where I lived. I would walk outside and I would see them being slapped so hard, it looked like their head was gonna come off….and it wasn’t just in poverty that I seen this abuse, it was everywhere." The R&B singer spoke about spreading the program out to other areas, saying, "It starts here. I can’t start in Africa because we need help here. Then I will stay in New York, maybe do something in Brooklyn, maybe Philly. But then we will start going to Canada, Paris. Women are suffering in Paris really bad. Women are suffering in Italy and Australia…Women are suffering all over the world. It would be so unfair to me have come from here and seen every thing that I seen in Yonkers to not open it here."
