She was named a Doctor of Music by the University and made it to the ceremony where she was seen videotaping graduates with a pink (guess it goes with her pink  Cadillac theme) digital camera before leaving. Go 'head, Ree-Ree!

05.25-RICK ROSS TO SUE RICK ROSS

The real Rick Ross is set to sue the rapper Rick Ross (William Leonard Roberts II), over the usage of the name "Rick Ross." The real Rick Ross was a cocaine dealer with thousands of workers in hs employ at the height of his power in the mid 1980s but was sent to prison in 1996 after attempting to purchase over 100 kilograms of cocaine. Released in 2006 the drug kingpin foud that his name had been taken by Miami rapper Rick Ross (William Leonard Roberts II). The real Rick Ross claims that he protested the use of his name in 2006 by sending cease-and-desist letters to Def Jam, which were allegedly ignored. Ross is now said to be about to file a lawsuit saying that the rapper stole his identity and based it on his real drug dealer image in the black community. Sources say the real Ross is planning to sue Def Jam, Universal, William "Rick Ross" Roberts II and others. With both men using the same name this could get complicated in court!

05.25-YOUNG MONEY MC ON KAT STACKS

Young Money rapper Lil Chuckee spoke out about groupie-du-jour Kat Stacks, criticizing her 'methods' of seeking fame. The rapper said, "I don't like the way she's doing it because that's my big brothers and if you want to get fame off Young Money, do it the right way because you're really doing it the wrong way," he continued,"And you think you're putting yourself out there as famous but you're really putting yourself outt there as you know what. She's not getting nowhere with it. She's gonna stay right there -- she's not really getting nowhere and I don't really like the way she did it. I don't even know the lady, well, I can't really call her lady because of the way she acts, but I don't really know her and she can't really say nothing about me." On another note Lil Chuckee also spoke on the last time that he saw Lil' Wayne ahead of the Lollipop rapper's current jail term, "We went bowling. We really tried to have fun in between the times he was working; we knew he was going in so we just tried to have a ball." So, while Lil Chickee tries to see his star rise, does he still have a point about Kat Stacks..?

05.25-MO PROBLEMS FOR WACKA FLOCKA

Rapper Wacka Flocka Flame has been catching his share of bad attention of late. Firstly an unknown man approached the rapper and his crew on the set of a video shoot, claiming that he shot the rapper before daring him to do something about it. Now reports say that unidentified group of people threw bottles on stage at Waka Flocka while he was performing at a club. Wacka was performing for a taping of the Trill DVD series and the crowd seemed behind him but all of a sudden the mood changed and bottles began to be hurled at the stage. Police were not called to the incident and Wacka Flocka is putting it all down to "scary n*ggas" (does he mean 'scared'?), "I mean these n*ggas talk all this sh*t, but never run up, these n*g*as just mad because their girls are getting wet thinking about me. Don't get mad at me playa, step your game up." Hmmmm, from what we saw on that video they weren't looking too intimidated...

05.25-JAMAICA DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY

A state of emergency has been declared in Jamaica after gunfire broke out in West Kingston following a call for Jamaican 'don' Christopher 'Dudus' Coke to be extradited to the U.S. The gangster is sought on drug and arms traffiking charges but his Tivoli gardens neighborhood and other areas have been barricaded with barbed wire and wrecked cars, with a police station in nearby Hannah Town being set alight by molotov cocktails. The trouble began after Prime Minister Bruce Golding reversed his long-standing refusal to extradite Coke, causing the alleged kingpin's supporters to rise up. The state of public emergency, limited to the parishes of Kingston and St. Andrew, will be in effect for one month unless extended or revoked by lawmakers, and travel alerts have been issued in Britain, Canada and ther U.S. Police say the attacks by gangsters roaming the streets with high-powered guns and improvised weapons were unprovoked and called for all "decent and law-abiding citizens" in the troubled areas to immediately evacuate their homes - adding that security forces would ferry them out safely. Coke, who is described as one of the world's most dangerous drug lords by the U.S. Justice Department, has ties to the governing Jamaica Labour Party. The Rev. Renard White, a leader of a Justice Ministry peace initiative that works in Jamaica's troubled communities, urged for caution to ensure innocent people were not hurt, "Clearly the government has to take a strong hand, but they must also tread very, very wisely so people are not hurt," adding, "But a lot of these guys in Tivoli Gardens, they are really pretty desperate."
