06.03-CHRIS BROWN - DRINK AWAY THE PAIN

Chris Brown is said to have been hitting the bottle heavily of late on the new York party scene. The 21-year-old singer has seen his career dip after his public spat with former girlfriend Rihanna and a source revealed, "Chris was out at Greenhouse nightclub last night in New York City and got so wasted that he fell off the couch," adding, "He had to be picked up off the ground by his security team!" Chris was apparently drinking Ace of Spades champagne mixed with Patron tequila as he hung out with rappers Lil Jon and Gucci Mane. A source said, "Girls were all over Chris trying to make their way to his table, he wasn’t really too talkative and seemed pretty cocky and arrogant. He took off his shirt and danced around in his tank top undershirt until the bar closed." A lot of people go a little too far from time to time but Chirs needs to make sure he doesn't fall off the edge with his drinking...

06.03-RZA SPEAKS ON THE SOUTH

Wu-Tang's Rza was recently called out by Jay Electronica over apparent comments that the South could not stand up to New York when it came to hip-hop skills. However, the Rza has spoken out to clear up his comments, saying, "I was speaking on the education level in the South, how brothers drop out ... in the sixth grade - some of them because they have to go to work, some of them because of the poverty, some because they're not interested in the education system... If anybody got a question of what I say, they can ask me. I fear no man. I fear no MC's talent," he said. "But I definitely know when you young, you feel a certain way. At one point, we as Wu-Tang was like, 'The whole industry is wack besides Wu-Tang.' That was our energy, our spirit." Not sure that makes it any better - but there it is... Hey respect to the WU - they're legendary, but we're big Jay E fans 'round here, too.

06.02-DADDY DRAKE?

Word has it that Drake may soon be a father, or at the very least that his girlfriend Maliah is pregnant. A source has said that she is in Jamaica doing a photo and video shoot and has told everyone on the set not to smoke weed around her or offer her any alcohol because she is pregnant. An insider explained, "I've known [Maliah] for a long time and she smokes plenty of weed . . . so for her to say stop now, she must really be pregnant." Congratulations?  We doubt if Drake is that dumb, but who knows...

06.02-WALE'S GAY U-TURN

Wale has looked to save face after catching heat from the Gay and Lesbian community for cancelling Saturday a performance at the D.C. Black Pride Legacy Festival. However, Wale made good by hitting the stage on Sunday to perform and even offered a free show for those in attendance. Wale spoke to the crowd saying, "One thing I stand for is Hip-Hop music. And Hip Hop music knows no race, no color, no age, no gender, no sexual orientation -- none of that. So, the most important thing about it is the music, and if it makes the people feel happy, that's what we hear." Wale went on to explain the lessons he had learnt, "I will say, sometimes in this business you get aligned with people that don't understand that, or don't necessarily have the same beliefs that you do. And I apologize for not having my best foot forward to understand the people I'm in business with. And I'm going to do better, as we all do."
