Rihanna has opened up to admit that she has a boyfriend, while also speaking about what went down with Chris Brown following that infamous Oscar ceremony night. Rihanna said, "I have a boyfriend. I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy. I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family." She went on to speak about Chris Brown, saying, "A year ago, I was very confused. Because he was my best friend. All of a sudden, one night changed our whole lives—not only our friendship, but our lives. I wanted to wake up one day and just not have that pain anymore. I wanted to be with him again or get over him—it was either-or. I just didn’t want to feel the pain, the confusion."

Ja Rule is heading to court on August 18th where he will face upto four years inside on gun possession charges. The new York rapper was arrested in July 2007 after a performance at the Beacon Theater when police stopped his $250,000 Maybach Benz and found a loaded .40 caliber handgun in the car. The weapon had the serial number scratched off but ja Rule has pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of a weapon. However, he has already suffered one setback in the case after Manhattan State Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers ruled against his bid to challenge the DNA testing procedure of the weapon. The rapper's lawyer, Stacy Richman, said she will appeal the ruling.

Word has it that Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry are giving their relationship another go - for the sake of daughter Nahla. The pair split after five years together and looked to be headed for a custody battle over two-year-old Nahla. Gabriel was due to head out to South Africa and look after nahla while Halle was filming 'Dark Tide.' A source revealed, "At first it was a practical decision for Halle, but things quickly heated up and got emotional. Now they’re back together and giving their love a second try." The source added, "Now they’re in counseling, and they’re putting their hearts and souls into working through their issues."

Rapper Common has confirmed that he and tennis star Serena Williams are no longer an item fresh from soaking up the atmosphere at the French Open. When asked if he was married and still interested in tennis Common replied, "I’m not married, I’ll say that. I still definitely have respect for tennis but I’m not married. Everything is positive and everything is good. Did I give a good Barack answer, did i give a good political answer?" He added, "I am single. I am a single man but everything is good with tennis, I will say that."

Beyonce's Daddy has spoken to halt any more talk of a Destiny's Child reunion, saying, "Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny’s Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album. The rumors are false. Destiny’s Child made an unprecedented impact in contemporary music, becoming one of the best-selling groups of all time. Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group." So kill that noise...

Drake spoke on why he stepped on stage to cuss Lil Kim and defend Nicki Minaj over the weekend, explaining, "I feel like Lil’ Kim is a G in the game. I feel like you’re a part of an era that’s classic, that we’ll never forget as young kids, me and Nick. You don’t have to do that. You don’t have to get onstage and tell people to pay homage, that’s a given. I’ve watched Nicki pay homage time and time again. I didn’t respect that, whoever else was onstage with her, I didn’t respect that at all. You just wearing your heart on your sleeve. You’re showing that you’re upset. Nobody’s done that to me yet. I would never expect Jay or [Kanye] to get onstage and be like, 'Pay homage to me. You need to respect me.' They command my respect with their music and talent.
