06.24.-LIL KIM DISSES NICKI MINAJ, DRAKE AND PUFF

Lil Kim is still not playing as she continues to take shots at Nicki Minaj while Drake and Puffy have also been pulled into her line of fire. Kim took aim at Drake for his not questioning Ray-J for dissing Nicki Minaj, "For Drake to fire back at me, you looking real on the pinker side of life Drake because you were supposed to fire that back at who said it - which was a guy!" Kim then moved on to once again address Nicki, "First of all, to be copied is the biggest form of flattery. It's not about her copying me. It's not about that. It's about her copying me and her creating that reign and then busting shots at me. I have a problem with that because as females we are already a minority in this industry so we need to kind of stick together and come out as a team against the fellas…" Kim then expressed how she was "disappointed" in longtime friend Sean 'Puffy' Combs for standing by Nicki Minaj when she dropped the line "Did I kill the queen?" on Dirty Money's 'Hello, Good Morning' remix. Lil Kim said, "Quite frankly, I gotta say I was very disappointed in him because usually he says something very intelligent and usually I can take something from him as my big brother. But I must say that in this specific statement that he made I was very disappointed…because number one he said I was mad. He set up there and said 'she never tried to copy you, she never said anything bad against you.' Look at the new video! She talking about 'did I kill the queen?' You wanna be subliminal? This is hip hop! If I was mad New York, we would have had the first earthquake you've ever seen!"

06.24-TUPAC TRACK TO BE PRESERVED BY CONGRESS

Tupac Shakur's 'Dear Mama' has been chosen to be preserved in the Library of Congress, making him one of only three U.S. rap acts to have been handed the honor, alongside Grandmaster Flash and Public Enemy. The 1995 hit song is one of 25 songs that will be added to the National Recording Registry this year with The Library of Congress calling 'Dear Mama,' "a moving and eloquent homage to both the murdered rapper's own mother and all mothers struggling to maintain a family in the face of addiction, poverty and societal indifference."

06.24-RICK ROSS SUES RICK ROSS

We reported that this was looking likely some days back but it seems that gangster turned activist Rick Ross has formally filed a lawsuit against William Roberts (aka rapper Rick Ross) for using his name and story to sell records. Ross filed a trademark infringement lawsuit in U.S. District Court, Central District of California. According to the papers filed by Ross' attorney, Melvin Sharpe, all parties involved are being sued including Jay-Z, Maybach Music Group, Slip-N-Slide Records and Universal Music Group. Ross included the labels and Jay-Z in the lawsuit due to their knowledge of Rick Ross' legendary status on the street and still allowed him to use the name and image in order to sell records. Due to being named defendants both Roberts and Jay-Z are scheduled to be summonsed and may have to appear in court to testify. In addition to filing the necessary paperwork, Ross' lawyers filed paperwork seeking a temporary restraining order for preliminary and permanent injunction relief, to officially block the release of rapper Rick Ross' upcoming album 'Teflon Don.'

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am is currently $10,000 lighter after thieves broke into his Bentley. The car was broken into while parked in the Hollywood Hills with jewelry and several personal items stolen. While some of the property has been recovered we wonder why he had so much stuff locked up in his car at all?

06.23-GAME TALKS MAKING UP WITH 50

The Game recently spoke out on the chances of a reconcilliation with G Unit head 50 Cent and it seems he is pretty open to the idea. The Game explained, "I think that in life anything can be mended. Right now, I haven't talked to 50. I don't talk to him but um, I'm not saying that that can't happen in the future or that it will or won't. But I think he's fine doing him and I'm fine doing me. And if the stars ever aligned and if that day comes where we can have a conversation and then chop it up and we can come to some type of happy medium, you know, I'm wit' it. But as of now, I guess he's doing him and I'm doing me."

06.23-UNCLE LUKE DISOWNS HIS KIDS

Luther 'Uncle Luke' Campbell has officially disowned his children with the exception of one, Blake Campbell, by saying, "I have one kid. His name is Blake Campbell and he stays with me and me and my wife raise him. I’ve made mistakes in my life and I’d like everyone to understand that it’s important to practice safe sex and it’s important to not have sex without condoms because you’ll be sperm donating and when you sperm donate to angry mothers then unfortunately it’s about a check. When you get a check, the results of that check ends up where your sperm donation kids are online talking bad about you after you paid millions and millions dollars in child support… " The outburst comes after his daughter Lacresha who claimed he was a dead beat dad. Uncle Luke went on to speak on his thoughts for his daughter, "When you living with a devil… And you been living with the devil for so many years and the devil been training you and putting in your mind all these devilish things. The results are what you see… I’m a mother.. not a motherf*cker, and I’ll leave you at that." Sounds like he was pushed too far...
