Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown could do with a little PR make-over after she was spotted in the street drinking Hennessy and getting high with two men at about 1am on Monday morning. A source revealed, "Foxy looked a freaking mess - when I say a mess, I'm saying terrible." Foxy, who was hanging out by a bergundy Benz with it's doors thrown open, looked to have put on about 30-40 pounds was sporting a headscarf and an unkempt weave. Coupled with a royal blue oversized tee-shirt, jean daisy-dukes, black Chinese slippers, and diamond hoop earrings and a necklace, Foxy was seen dipping low against the parking garage gate on one of the men she was with. Foxy resisted attempts by fans to speak with her saying, "back up and none of yall better flash pictures in my direction, I ain’t signing autographs!" Foxy was said to have been rolling her eyes, cussing, and throwing bad attitude at anyone who recognized her.   Was just talking about her - hope she can pull herself together...though, we doubt it...she's still livin' off of past glory...

Kanye West is facing legal action after allegations were made that he stole his 2007 hit single 'Stronger.' Vincent 'Vince P' Peters filed a federal copyright infringement lawsuit saying that Kanye took his original song of the same name and profited from it. Peters says that he gave Kanye's business manager, John Monoploy, a copy of his work in 2006. It is alleged that Kanye lifted Peters' work, with the lawsuit saying Kanye's version "copies significant and important parts of Peters' lyrics identically or almost identically." The lawsuit added that both versions of the track reference model Kate Moss and use the lyrics "that which does not kill me makes me stronger" and "can't wait much longer." Rocafella Records and Universal Music Group are also named in the lawsuit which seeks and end to the distribution, performance and selling of the copyrighted song as well as an unspecified amount in damages.  Um, why wait until 2010?  Shame on 'Ye if he stole it, but we would have made a big deal about it DIRECTLY when we heard the song...

Lil Boosie has pleaded not guilty on murder charges that could see him handed the death penalty if convicted. "He's not guilty," said Defense Attorney Marcus Allen, "I think he's absolutely not guilty. I think he meant what he said. He's absolutely not guilty. We're just going to prepare for his defense and get ready to address the charges." However District Attorney Hillar Moore was more reserved in judgment, "I'd rather wait for the evidence to speak as to what happened, he's got several different cases, so it depends on which one you're talking about. He also has the introduction of the drugs into the prison and obviously, he's presumed innocent at this point." The 27-year-old rapper pleaded not guilty to conspiracy and drug charges as well.

Kelis was interviewed by British newspaper The Guardian and revealed that ex-husband Nas is her 'biggest disappointment. She also spoke on her son, Knight, and hints at a new love in her life. Here's how it went down:

Lauryn Hill has come out to explain the reasons for her 11-year absence from music, saying, "There were a number of different reasons (why I left), but partly, the support system that I needed was not necessarily in place. There were things about myself, personal-growth things, that I had to go through in order to feel like it was worth it. In fact, as musicians and artists, it's important we have an environment - and I guess when I say environment, I really mean the (music) industry, that really nurtures these gifts."  The game needs you full time, Lauren - please come back with a GREAT album!

Jennifer Hudson has spoken out about the tragic murders of her young nephew, brother and mother for a VH1 Behind the Music special. The network has said that "for the very first time, Jennifer talks candidly about overcoming [that] painful time in her life." The tragic events occurred in October 2008 when Jennifer learned that her mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were shot to death in the family’s Chicago home. The singer's 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, had been kidnapped by the gunman but sadly his body was discovered three days later in a parked car. The man charged with the murders was the estranged husband of Jennifer’s own sister Julia, who was Julian’s mother.  R.I.P.  Can't wait to see this...
