Rock from Heltah Skeltah has been found not guilty of an attempted murder charge from a shooting incident that left a pimp paralyzed. Dru Ha, CEO of Duck Down Records, made the announcement via Twitter, "Exhale for Rock and congratulations to his attorney Kenneth Montgomery for the NOT GUILTY VERDICT! Incredible job." Rock was accused of being a moonlighting as a pimp at night and shooting a rival in January of 2008. The rapper was released on $125,000 bail and proclaimed he was innocent of the shooting, any assault and working as a pimp.

07.15-K-Ci AND JO JO TO RETURN

Jodeci singers K-Ci and Jo Jo are looking to make a return after some time in the wilderness as they look set to launch a reality TV show and a new album this year. It seems that the duo will be spilling the beans on why they were AWOL for so long, with K-Ci saying, "We made a lot of mistakes and we just putting it all on the table so you won't have to read the Internet and magazines about us. We letting it be known and K-Ci & Jo Jo 'Come Clean' comes out in October."  Hum, interesting.  Guess if Dru Hill can return, and Jodeci was a bigger group, then we guess it will have relevancy or foolishness - one or the other...guess we'll have to tune in...

07.15-MIKE TYSON DISSES HIS OWN SELF

Mike Tyson has some harsh words about himself recently after he seems to have taken time to reflect on his life in the wake of the tragic death of his 4-year-old daughter last year. The former heavyweight champion said, "The first stage of my life was just a whole bunch of selfishness. Just a whole bunch of gifts to myself and people who didn't necessarily deserve it. Now I'm 44, and I realize that my whole life is just a f**king waste. 'Greatest man on the planet'? I wasn't half the man I thought I was." Mike went on to reveal that he plans to be more charitable and giving, explaining, "So if there's a big plan now, it's just to give—it's selflessness, caring for the people who deserve it. Because I think I'm a pig. I have this uncanny ability to look at myself in the mirror and say, "This is a pig. You are a f*cking piece of sh*t….Objectively, I'm a pig. That's why it's very difficult for me when people are offering me all that adulation and love. I just feel dirty. These people want to hug me, they want to touch me, and I'm feeling like, "Get your f*cking hands off me…" Mike was then asked about how his duaghter's death has changed him and if he thinks he can help others in the same situation, "I have such mixed feelings about that. Sometimes it feels like I've lost faith, and I get that incredibly insignificant feeling of thinking that other people should be dead and she should be the one still here. And then I see that I just gotta boot up and suit up and come to work and make the situation better somehow. Try to be a man—not the man, just a f*cking man—and show up."  Sometimes it's like that...some people learn the easy way, and others the hard way - we guess that it is as long as you learn, Mike...don't sweat it...as the important thing is that you get it...

07.14-MASHONDA ON ALICIA AND SWIZZ DIVORCE

While the world seems to be getting excited about Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys' first child together being born it is easy to forget that there was a wronged woman behind all of the joy. Swizz's ex-wife, R&B singer Mashonda, spoke out about her divorce from the producer and his upcoming wedding to Alicia Keys. Mashonda explained that she wouldn't attend the matrimonials and also revealed how she saw Alicia and Swizz together at the producer's birthday party - while she was still married to him! Speaking on attending the upcoming wedding Mashonda said, "No [I wouldn't go]. Not out of malice, but because weddings are sacred. It's just not my place. The only reason I went to his birthday party was because he invited me and I did that for myself. I needed to see them together for it to transfer. And I was like ‘Wow, this is real.' We were still totally married…We had a divorce that was nowhere near final, but I just needed to see them in action for it to be real to me, and it was definitely real." She continued, "You have all these different types of steps that you have to set up for yourself until you get to that place where you are free. And I will tell you, after I got divorced maybe three weeks later I woke up and felt a weight removed. It was the first time I'd ever felt mentally free. And I sent him an email wishing him all the best in the world." Mashonda went on to explain how she feels about Alicia Keys and her music, saying, "I don't make it an effort to listen [to Alicia's music]. I don't make it an effort not to listen. I still like her songs. She's head over heels in love and I get it. Every woman deserves to feel that, not at the expense of another woman though. But I understand why some of the decisions were made on her part, because her heart was so in it. I can't fight that [and] I can't fight her because she's a household name. People are always going to love her for her music, as they should. She makes great music, but no one is really ever going to understand what happened in this house." However, it is not all 100% happy, as Mashonda spoke on how she felt about Alicia making off with her husband, Bottom line, the rule is, if you're messing with somebody, you don't know they're married, and you found out they're married if you come into any contact with that wife, leave it alone… respect the woman, respect the wife. Like I said before, it was an ego thing for me. I'm being f*cking disrespected, nobody respects me, this is my husband, this is my family, this girl thinks she can just do anything she thinks she wants to. And that's what I dealt with for a while, until I gave up." That said Mashonda seems to be moving on as she attended the launch of book based on the lives of Hip Hop Wives with her new man, TV producer Michael Honablue.  Best of luck to her - payback always come in the end...

07.14-CHRISTINA MILIAN: A WOMAN SCORNED?

When news broke of producer The Dream's separation from wife Christina Milian it seemed that the split was being passed off as a mutual decision - despite pictures of The Dream frolicking on a beach with his mistress, former assistant Melissa. However, sources are saying that the news was an effort to save The Dream's career after the pictures broke. Insiders added that he and Christina had been planning to raise their daughter together in Atlanta and had been together in the last month. The insider revealed, "They were clearly still in love. I feel bad because his assistant Melissa clearly knew they were happily married and even attended, signed and witnessed both marriage ceremonies the couple had. What makes matters worse is she joined them in celebrating the birth of baby Violet at the hospital and Christina has had Melissa and her entire family over for holiday dinners while Melissa’s family was going through hardships." The source continued, addressing The Dream's amicable split statement, "His statement is a fat lie to save his record sales, his EVP position at IDJ. Any separation time for them was always due to work, at least that’s what he was selling Christina and she believed him because that’s her husband… who wouldn’t? Quite frankly he totally manipulated her and the situation." The truth will always come to light - sometimes sooner than you think...The Dream is a cornball anyway - Christina will be fine as long as she sticks to acting and NOT singing...
