Reps for Rihanna have denied that the singer has been in contact with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. The rep calls claims that Rihanna is talking with Chris "absolutely not true." The rumor began when a source said that Rihanna had been touched by Chris’s BET Awards tribute to Michael Jackson and began text messaging him. The source added that Rihanna wanted to have a "face-to-face meeting" with Chris. While you can believe what you wish,but it is no surprise to hear the claims denied as Chris has been told to stay at least 100 yards away from Rihanna while he serves his five year probation.

A friend of Christina Milian has spoken out on the singer's relationship with The Dream as they look set to divorce after pics of The Dream with his mistress circulated online. The friend revealed, "I am very close with Christina and she has NEVER removed her ring because she and Dream NEVER broke up. His announcement was the first time he ever expressed not wanting to spend the rest of his life with her and at this moment she is a distraught mother and wife. With that kind of shock I dont think she has even considered taking it off yet, everything happened so fast." Christina's friend continued, "Trust me, if his words were truth, I would have been the first to throw a party for her leaving his evil ass. Check all the photos from 2010, she never took it off. Meanwhile he sure tried to use her and that baby to promote his failed album 'cause that's the only thing people cared about, not him, why would a single man do that?" The friend went on, "And all this bull about doing things to protect the baby!?! That baby can't read! But, before she knows how to read, she will be able to understand those nasty disrespectful photos of daddy and what was a close family friend and employee." The source said how Christina has good support around her, "Christina has real family and friends supporting her because she is 100% real and is an absolute joy to be around.. The Dream is the devil and anyone close to him is paid to be there and he could never get over that. That was the only problem in their relationship - he is crazy. He was mentally controlling and abusive [but] now that he has recently turned his back on Christina the clouds are clearing and she is no longer in the brainwashed state he had her in. Thank God!" The friend went on to say how they believed The Dream had manipulated Christina, saying, "He started by trying to control her career, not allowing her to work with any other producers, meanwhile giving her leftover songs that he had already written and recorded with other artists. Then he made sure to leak the songs on the internet so there was no chance of her building an album. All the while badgering her about how much he did for her and how she didnt appreciate him, forcing her to be subservient and fall deeper into this world full of apologies to a man who can never be satisfied. It made me sick to be near her on the phone with him. She apologized for everything just to move on from the issue, even when she was guilty of nothing. 'I'm sorry' was way too prevalent in her vocabulary for over 2 years and it became mentally abusive." The friend summed up The Dream, saying, "He wallows in misery. He constantly tried to argue with her about her family and to this day blames it on her side. But Christina moved to Atlanta while everyone was in LA and it became clear that all anyone could do to make her happy at that time was let her go and they did. But he continued to go at her with the same problems while she dedicated this 'new life' to him, pushing aside her career and family for him." The friend finished, "He even faked illness to drag her further into this misery. Christina was forced to play mommy to a newborn and to a full grown man and had no time to attend to herself, forcing her family to make extended visits in order to help her." Sounds like the friend is bitter for Christina but the question is how much of this is true?
 

A little positivity after news emerged that Alicia Keys and Jay-Z are performing at a charity ball to benefit those affected by HIV/AIDS . Sade will also take to the stage for the annual 'Black Ball' on September 30 at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom. The charity event is being held to benefit 'Keep A Child Alive,' of whom Alicia Keys is a co-founder. The charity seeks to help children and families affected by HIV/AIDS including providing AIDS care through doctors, nutrition, testing, transportation, and treatment for those infected. The charity has raised over $10 million since 2004.
 

Former Day 26 member Que popped the question to Dawn of Dirty Money about two weeks ago and yet there had been no announcements made, did something go wrong? Que asked Dawn to marry him via Twitter and Dawn now reveals, "He talked about it to me but I didn’t know he was gonna do that. I feel that’s between him and I, but I’m happy that he’s happy with me and that’s all I’ll say about that…. You guys will know soon enough. Right now, I think Qwanell is such a loving person that he just wants to tell the world all the time what goes on between me and him and that was a surprise to me and I love him for that. But I’m more of a private person. You guys will find out when it’s time. I do love him and I do think he’s my soulmate." Is that a polite 'No' or a 'Not Yet?,' as it doesn't sound like a straight 'Yes.'  Bottom line is that Que can't compete with Puffy.

44-year-old veteran rapper Too Short has been arrested in Idaho on Battery charges. Sources say that a fight broke out at The Knitting Factory nightclub after Too Short was told he couldn't take underage girls backstage and into his dressing room. Employees say they were punched and kicked by Too Short and his associate, 38-year-old Michael T. Walton. While none of the employees were seriously hurt, both Too Short and Walton were taken to a local jail and released after posting bail. Too Short faces three counts of misdemeanor battery and Walton is charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery. They are due in court August 4th.   Why did they have underage girls with them number 1? & number 2, didn't Too Short say that life was too short - does he really think that he is a pimp????

Lil Wayne has released another letter to fans from Rikers Island where he talks on how his Young Money crew are faring without him as well as detailing a day in the life for the currently incarcerated rapper. "I applaud my Young Money family for what they're doing," Wayne wrote, "As I'm not surprised. This is what we're supposed to do. Congrats to Drake and Nicki for all their recent success. Those 2 are going to have me retiring early. I love my team." Wayne went on to reveal what a regular day inside is like for him, "I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes, I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone.Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That's my day." He almost makes it sound relaxing! In related news Wayne is expected to be released from jail early with four months likely to be dropped from his one-year sentence. He is likely to be released November 4, pending any violations or infractions for behavioral issues.  He makes it sound like he needed this 'rest.'  Talented dude, but hope that he gets his life together, otherwise he will continually end up in there if they have anything to do with it...he's the scapegoat...
