After The Dream released his sorrowful statement to the world we thought that perhaps the scandal would die down over his split from Christina Milian - but apparently not. Word has it that The Dream filed for divorce before their child was even born. According to documents filed in Georgia, The-Dream (aka Terius Nash) claimed the marriage is "irretrievably broken" on February 17. The-Dream also declared, "There is no hope for reconciliation." Milian gave birth to their only child, a daughter, on February 26. Now, The Dream's belief that their relationship was broken may have been correct - but that doesn't make the timing right. That's just cold... Dude just seems like a str8 cornball.

Lloyd Banks has beaten assault charges brought against him by Canadian booking agent Chris Hines. Hines alleged that Banks and his friends held him in a room against his will and beat him for over 20 minutes. Justice Michael Epstein dismissed all charges relating to the incident, which happened in January. Banks’ United States lawyer, Scott Leemon ESQ said, "Banks would like to thank his Canadian counsel, Patrick Ducharme, and the authorities in Ontario for doing ‘the right thing," adding, "After a careful and neutral evaluation of the facts, it is good to see that the system actually worked. With this finally behind him, Banks looks forward to coming back to Canada soon." Charges were also withdrawn against two other men in the assault case, while a third, Nicklas Sloane, pled guilty to assault and received a $2,500 fine.

Ne-Yo has got himself caught up in a scandal in France according to the French press. A report broke saying that Soccer player, Franck Ribiery, allegedly slept with a 16 year old prostitute named Zahia. Now a French newspaper is also claiming that Ne-Yo slept with the girl, saying, "It appears right now that the American rapper Ne-Yo . . . spent one night with Zahia, a few weeks before she becomes major [i.e. not a minor]."

Ke$ha revealed the story behind the attention-grabbing headline when whe spoke on how she had become close friends with singer Rihanna. The pair have been together on Rihanna's 'Last Girl On Earth' tour and revealed, "We have [pyjama] parties and pillow fights and we [plait] each other’s hair a lot. We talk about boys, naked." We're sure there are quite a few folks who'd love an invite...

Word is going around that Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are set to tie the knot this weekend, but a recent interview with the producer has thrown the rumors into the shade. Swizz revealed, "The rest of my summer plans are just to work hard and just keep pushing the limits from art and philanthropic work and spending time with my kids and maintaining positive things," he added he is also looking forward to having his new baby with Alicia, "I’m very excited about that!" Swizz Beatz exclaimed, "Children, you know, they’re a blessing and I’m very excited." It seems that his older children are also looking forward to the new arrival, "They’re excited as well. We keep the energy positive. Everything surrounding kids should always be positive. That’s the number one rule." Swizz was then asked how he thought Alicia would take to motherhood, "I think she’s going to be an amazing mom because she’s an amazing person," he says. "If you're an amazing person, it all equals the same thing." Swizz then went on to talk about their forthcoming wedding, confirming, "Well its not this weekend!" Swizz added, "But you know, we're excited. Our union is amazing. Our union is pure. Our union is positive no matter what people say or what people think, time will tell everything and you know, silence is the best thing. We just keep it private and we do our thing and just have fun with it." Swizz Beatz also revealed that he is helping with the wedding planning, "Yeah, you know, I’m a planner! I like getting into the detail of things. I’m inspired by fashion, I’m inspired by art, I’m inspired by architectural things so [I like] being involved with the wedding. I’m not the person who sits back and goes, okay, well I’ll just show up. I’m actually spearheading certain plans but it’s a nice blend, a nice partnership." Describing the plans he said that they are "very intimate," adding, "It’s not a superstar wedding. It’s not a gimmicky wedding. It’s a true bond of love, you know, that’s not based on having the most famous person sitting there while you’re doing it. It’s about having the closest people who really understand you as a person and that really have love for you. So it’s a small situation." As for a date and a location - does he have any ideas? "Yeah I know where! Of course I know where," Swizz said, "It’s soon!" He added, "[But] not this weekend."

Teen sensation Justin Bieber has been injecting a little 'realness' into his swagger after he revealed his thoughts on hip-hop, adding that Drake was like a big brother to him. When questioned about the tunes he carries on his iPod Bieber revealed, "My iPod is really scattered. Boys II Men, Snoop, Prince, Eminem, Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Gucci Mane, all of Young Money... Lil Wayne is my favorite, Biggie, Pac - my dad introduced me to 2Pac when I was nine and I could rap all of 'Thug Nation' by the time I was 10. Front to back, I could still do it." When asked if his street credibility was still intact Bieber replied "a little bit" before talking about 'big brother' Drake, ""He's great. He's a really good artist. He's like my big brother. He definitely tells me to have fun with what I'm doing and stay humble. It's really important. I'm touring right now and writing a little bit on the bus. Seeing new cities and different crowd reactions. I think that really [my success] is because I'm genuine. I'm myself. I don't hold back. I'm just being me and doing what I love and having fun. People like that. People can see character and whether you're doing it for the money or definitely love doing it for real." Whatever you think - at least the boy's doing it for himself and staying true to who he is...
