Ne-Yo has complained that he was mis-quoted on comments he made about the recent arrest of T.I. and wife, Tiny. The pair were hauled in by police for drug possession after a traffic stop and Ne-Yo was quoted as saying, "T.I. has had many chances - and it's time he gets his act together. A lot of the decisions he makes comes because of the people that he has around him and that nine times out of 10 when he gets in trouble, it's not him, it's the people that he's with." While this may be considered a fair enough comment, Ne-Yo was quick to distance himself from the remark, using twitter to say,
 
"Ok folks. I ain't even see what they're claiming I said, but in the everybody's so mad, I'm sure they misquoted me......,"
"...So from the horses mouth, HERE'S what I said about the T.I. situation.I said that T.I. is one of the smartest people in the game, but..."
"....Sometimes the people surrounding you, get you in more trouble than you yourself do. I ain't down talk nobody, I spoke my opinion..."
"...because I was asked it. Half of y'all speak your opinion whether somebody asks you or not! I got no beef wit T.I. or his team...."
"...That ain't my sh*t to beef with people over nothing. If T.I. or any of his people wanna sit down like men and discuss it, I'm down...."
"...Much luv to the people that support T.I. Sh*t I'M A SUPPORTER of T.I., so I understand your anger......"
"...But from now on, if you wanna know if I said something, the internet ain't the proper source. Hit me up on here and ask before you assume."
"I got nothin' to hide, and you already see that I'll answer whatever. No drama or beef on my end. Nuff said."
Ne-Yo was right to stop any drama as there was no need for any from his comments - even whle he pretty much said the same thing in his official quote as in the mis-quote...

Dame Dash spoke out recently on why he felt hip-hop's 1990s artists failed to lock the industry down - blaming a lack on unity. Dame explained, "Back in my day, you wouldn't see two different labels really f**king with each other like that," he continued, "You wouldn't see Bad Boy messing with Roc-a-Fella or Wu-Tang kicking it with us and that is where I feel that we dropped the ball." Dame added, "If we would have done things right, we could have really had things on lock, we could have really showed the labels that we don't need them, because we don't." Does he have a point?

Dame, dawg, you a little too late on this - why didn't you impart this 'knowledge' when you and the Roc were trying to keep everything self - contained?

R&B singer Lloyd has shorn his locks to support a charitable cause. Lloyd, who began growing his hair over 10 years ago, says he felt like it was time for a change so decided to use the opportunity to do something good, explaining, "I've been growing my hair since 9th grade. It's time for a new me. The fact that my hair will go to someone that needs it more than me, makes me feel great about my decision." Lloyd's hair was donated to 'Locks Of Love' where it will be turned into a hairpiece for a financially disadvantaged child who is also suffering from long-term medical hair loss.

 You've done a great thing, Lloyd - keep up the positivity.  We interviewed him a few years back, and we can believe, based on that, that he did this out of the sincerest motive.

Joe Jackson has spoken out on why he felt it necessary to beat his son, Michael Jackson, as well as his other children when they stepped out of line. Joe revealed, "I had to be like that because when raising him, in those days, so many gangs out there getting into trouble, going to jail. Most of them are dead now. He didn't have to worry about that." But does Joe regret the beatings he handed out? "No! They tried to make a big issue when I spanked Michael or some of the kids, ya know? Just like they didn't spank their kids when they did wrong. The media twists everything." We're not sure that beating children stops them from joining gangs and of course there are beatings and there are beatings...

Seems like Joe's mental beatings were far worse than his physical ones...anyway, let's let Mike rest in peace...who cares...anything to try to stay relevant after Michael's death...smh

Reports have emerged alleging that adult film star Alana Evans was raped at the home of R&B singer Brian McKnight. Evans used her twitter account to make the allegations that she was raped by a relative of Brian's while she was visiting back in December 2008. She goes on to say that Brian's two sons, who were at home at the time, helped cover up the crime. Here's what Alana said, "On December 16, 2008 I was raped by their friend in the maids quarters of McKnights home-LAPD refused to file charges. I’ve been quiet way too long at it- f*ck them- not anymore- more women are raped everyday and the police don’t help- why? Cuz boys lie. Brian McKnight was performing in NY when were we all there- he came home to cops at his door- and the "friend" was never allowed back. LAPD did nothing because I am a pornstar- so I guess that makes me less of a human to them. I kept hearing 'how do u rape a pornstar' well, when u wake up with a fat dude on top of you, that’s how- I freaked and blacked out. It just really hurt that they (LAPD) wouldn’t help me- law says there’s is no consent when a woman is intoxicated- but it didn’t matter. I asked who it was cuz it was pitch black so I couldn’t see- he said it was him-I told him to get out- he jumped on me etc and I blacked out. I woke up several hours later- alone- and it was day light- all my clothes were gone- they laughed when they saw me. I was so f*cked up the whole day- I knew I was drugged- stayed in bed- went to police when I was more alert the next a.m. The pig told the cops I was drunk- that I said I was horny and consented so the rape kit didn’t even matter. His name is Nicholas Hayes- the McKnights originally said he was their cousin when we met- that was a lie-nope- he was friends with BJ McKnight and Nikko McKnight- @brianmcknights kids- he was staying at their home." These are some pretty heavy allegations if they are true - she even names names in this whole affair. While she could be making it up we somehow doubt it - why come out with this story now?

Kanye West has finally apologized to Taylor Swift for hijacking her award at last year's VMAs. Kanye famously stormed the stage as Taylor was being handed her award to claim that Beyonce should have won. Kanye used his twitter account to apologize, saying, "I'm sorry, Taylor, we're both artists, and the media and managers are trying to get between us. She deserves an apology more than anyone." Kanye continued, "There are people who don't dislike me ... they absolutely hate me,people Tweeted that they wish I was dead ... No listen. They wanted me to die, people. I carry that." Kanye went on to attack the media who villified him for the incident by turning it into "an angry black man vs. innocent white girl issue." Kanye tweeted, "I became George Bush over night," continuing, "She [Taylor] had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. She's justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us." Kanye finished, "Beyoncé didn't need that. MTV didn't need that and Taylor and her family, friends and fans definitely didn't want or need that." Well done Kanye - but what took you so long? Still, better late than never.
