Grind Mode Media, LLC (Grindmodeconnect.com’s holding company) and its subsidiaries take the privacy of their users seriously and do care a great deal about keeping their information confidential.  While this community was built on the premise of allowing people to freely interact in this environment, safety and privacy remains a priority.

Grindmodeconnect.com Connect is a service that allows members to create unique personal profiles that can be linked together through networks of friends. Members can view the profiles of others, communicate with friends and meet new people on the service. While the sharing of some personal information to other members and visitors allows our users to identify each other and expand their network of friends Grindmodeconnect.com would discourage members from posting any information that they do not want to be in the public domain.  Do not, for example, list any information such as e-mail address, phone number or addresses out in the open, if you do not want to be contacted by people that you do not know.  Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily post public information to Journals, WebLogs, Message Boards, Classifieds or any other Public Forums that that information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications.  Grindmodeconnect.com are not liable for any unsolicited contact that may arise as a result of users placing personal information on their chat rooms, bulletin boards or any other areas of their sites.

Your Member profile is password-protected so that you and only you have access to this information. In order to maintain this protection, do not give your password to anyone. Also, Grindmodeconnect.com recommends that, if you share your computer with other people, you sign out of your account and close your browser window when you are done.  Signing off will protect your information if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place such as a library.

While Grindmodeconnect.com's services allow users the opportunity to meet new people online they suggest that, as a precautionary statement, you do not give out your address or meet with people that you do not know.  While the community was built for people to network with one another, they do encourage that you find out as much information about the person that you are building these ‘online friendships and relationships’ with and to be aware that other members may not provide information that is 100% factual. 

Registration:

In order to use certain Grindmodeconnect.com services, you must first complete the registration form and create a user name and password.  During registration you are required to provide contact information (such as name and valid email address).  This information may be used to contact you but will not be sold on or made publicly available.

Contests and Surveys:

Grindmodeconnect.com may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys.  Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose information which would typically include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code).  Such information will be requested to facilitate the contest or survey.  We use may use a third party service provider to conduct such surveys or contests; those companies are prohibited from using our users' personally identifiable information for any other purpose than to facilitate the working of the survey or contest.

Your Information:

Grindmodeconnect.com would not sell your information, unless informed otherwise we do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information, unless required by law or for the protection of your Membership.  Grindmodeconnect.com member services are secured by member-created passwords and they take precautions to insure that member account information is kept private.  However we cannot 100% guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information.  Grindmodeconnect.com will not disclose personal information to any third party unless it is believed that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the Terms of Use Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service.  Grindmodeconnect.com reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Grindmodeconnect.com or substantially all of its assets to that successor.

Members Located Outside of the United States of America:

Grindmodeconnect.com make every effort to protect the personal information of all Members and other users of their services and attempt to comply with local data protection and consumer rights laws.  Members and users located outside of the United States of America, including within the European Union, will have their information transferred to the United States, you should note that there may be instances where the European Union may deem data protection laws to be inadequate.  Members and other users of Grindmodeconnect.com services located in countries outside of the United States of America who submit personal information consent to the general use of such information as provided in this privacy policy and to the transfer of that information to and/or storage of the information in the United States of America.

Changes To Policy:

From time to time there may be changes to our privacy policy.  Such changes will be posted online to make users aware of what the changes are.  A User is bound by such changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted.

Age Restriction:

Grindmodeconnect.com services are not directed to children under the age of 14 and every effort is made to adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, which prohibits the collection of personal information online from children under the age of 13 without first obtaining verifiable parental consent. Your profile may be deleted and your Membership may be terminated without warning, if we believe that you are under 14 years of age.

Safety:

Grindmodeconnect.com takes the personal safety of its members and users very seriously and as such have produced some quick (although not exhaustive) guidelines to try to help maintain your safety. 

·                  Community based internet sites are a good way of meeting people but you should take caution in interacting with members.  Should you wish to meet an online friend in person make sure that any planned meeting occurs in public and be sure to let others know where and when you are going.

·                  Grindmodeconnect.com operates within a pubic environment and anyone will be able to see what you add to your personal pages and indeed what you type on bulletin boards and in chat rooms.  Make sure you are happy that your friends, your teachers, family or potential and present employers may see what you have written and uploaded?  Think about this before you add anything.

·                  Some people are not 100% truthful and there are a few people who may attempt to dishonestly make money from you whilst online.  Don't give other members money, credit card information or any other financial information.  As a general rule, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.

·                  Be cautious about how much information you share when you meet someone new.  Take your time to see if you feel someone is trustworthy and do not share personal information online with strangers.
