Who We Are?

Grindmodeconnect.com is a niche specific social connecting community geared towards the unification and connecting of those in the music industry (DJs, producers, publicists, artists, label reps, promoters), with one another, while also keeping artists in touch with their music supporters, and music supporters in touch with their favorite artists, people who are on a day to basis, in ‘grind mode,’ are who we are paying reverence to by creating this community. It is also the sister website of innovative digital magazine—Grind Mode Magazine, and the successor of long-time popular urban portal grind-mode.com (a website that was responsible for spotlighting a lot of underground talent and DJs over the years), also described as a ‘life-line’ of underground artists, by many in the music industry.

Grindmodeconnect.com, designed, implemented and created FROM SCRATCH, and was founded by a former underground rapper turned journalist, and run by a team of music enthusiast (including DJs, journalists and promoters), whose sincere love and respect for artists and DJs, is unparallel to any. It is the successor to their long-time urban portal, grind-mode.com.

What is our definition of being in Grind Mode ©?

We don’t just say that we’re in Grind Mode, we actually define what we feel being in Grind Mode is:

1. Hustlin’ to perfect your craft.
2. Working long hours even when you may not want to.
3. Surrounding yourself with cats that aspire to be something.
4. Learning from those who already have done what you are trying to do and listening to them. .
5. Being the best at what it is that you do.
6. Understanding what your long-term goal is and working consistently to make it happen.
7. Not being envious of others that have been on their grind and are now successful.
8. Empowering others…it’s one thing to get put on…but it is another to put someone on…remember that.

What Makes Us Different?

We are not trying to be like any other social networking website, as they have already created their respective formulas. We are, however, stressing the fact that Grindmodeconnect.com was implemented on the premise that ‘like-minded’ people should have a place to vibe with one another and be amongst their peers, colleagues and friends (grinders), while meeting new grinders like themselves who are about their business, too. Everyone here has a common interest…music. For a long time (being the first to ever say it) we have stated since inception that we have taken a unique vow to unite the mainstream music industry, underground and DJ sector…so here we are doing it in a community that now allows for this to happen, because we realized early on that each of these groups need one another to succeed.

We will always represent the underground and our website is still an artist informational portal, so we’ve combined it all under one roof—we’re not just any networking community, we at Grindmodeconnect.com also believe in universal empowerment and keepin’ those that ‘roll’ with us continually educated and informed—with our thought provoking ‘opinion only’ edutorials, how-to industry empowerment articles, industry news, music reviews and more, which many of these things can be seen right on your user backend panel for your convenience. Any place that you travel, you should be learning something, is what we believe.
